How to design stickers for Cricut

Cricut Design Space is forgiving for craft stickers — if your file is sized correctly and you pick the right cut type.

Canvas and size

Design at final physical size. Know your mat size and printable region. Leave margin for the machine.

Kiss-cut vs die-cut

• Kiss-cut — cuts face stock, leaves liner (sheet stickers)
• Die-cut — cuts through for individual shapes

Draw a cutline offset around artwork for die-cut stickers; keep a consistent bleed if printing.

Export tips

• SVG for simple shapes and lettering cuts
• PNG for flattened print-then-cut with transparent background
• Flatten effects before export; Complex blends become raster surprises
