Vinyl cutting software usually means the app that drives your plotter. That is only half the job if you sell online. You also need a design capture layer that produces clean specs and files your cutting workflow can trust.

Two layers of “cutting software”

  • Cutter software — Graphtec, Roland, Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio
  • Order design software — captures lettering, size, finish, and cut previews from the customer

Vinyl Designer focuses on the second layer for WooCommerce. Colour PNG and black cut PNG previews travel with the order so your operator is not reverse-engineering a chat message.

File formats that matter
